Requirements:

1G, 2G, 3G, 4G, Mini, or Photo iPod. Installation is possible but not supported on Nano and 5G (Video) iPods. OS X 10.3.x or higher.

Changes:

- Added support for 4G, Mini, and Photo iPods. Installation is possible on Nano and 5G iPods but is not supported. Note: This is an initial alpha release, be prepared for some bugs.

- Includes newest kernel as of April 1st 2006.

- Added check to make sure user was able to write to where the installer is located.



Version 0.3c

Requirements:

1, 2 or 3G iPod, OS X 10.2.8 or higher.

Changes:

- Includes the newest iPodLinux Kernel and podzilla as of June 4th, 2005.

- Fixed Tiger (OS 10.4) tar bug.

- Fixed bug that kept Linux from being installed on iPods with names that included the UTF8 version of the ' character.



Version 0.3b

Requirements:

1, 2 or 3G iPod, OS X 10.2.8 or higher.

Changes:

- Includes the newest iPodLinux Kernel and podzilla as of April 4th, 2005.

- Fixed update, mount/unmount bug.

- Added eject button, enabled users to select installer output, clarified output text, and corrected typos.

- Installer creates recording directory if one is not already present.

- Installer tells user if they have a windows iPod.

- Installer checks to ensure Mac OS X is not installed on the target iPod.

- Updated the installed iPodLinux kernel, user-land, and Podzilla.



Version 0.3a

Requirements:

1, 2 or 3G iPod, OS X 10.2.8 or higher.

Changes:

- Includes the newest iPodLinux Kernel and podzilla as of Dec 20, 2004.

- Modularized program.

- Added update system so users do not have to download an entirely new application every time they want to update iPodLinux.

- Added Localization support. Current installed localizations are Simpified Chinese, Japanese. French and German will be completed soon.



Version 0.2a

Changes:

- Includes the newest iPodLinux Kernel and podzilla as of Oct 26, 2004.

- Corrected a bug that caused the installer to think the device the user was installing linux on was not an iPod.

- Modified method by which the installer determines the dev path of the iPod to give a speed boost to the install and uninstall process.

- Added Localization support.
